These Xiaomi Phone will stop receiving new MIUI updates
As we anticipated a few months ago, Xiaomi has ended the useful life of a new set of smartphones. As of today, July 20, the firm will no longer offer official support for devices such as the Xiaomi Mi 10.
Like every year, Xiaomi has once again left behind part of its older smartphones. As of today, these will stop receiving new MIUI updates forever, at least as far as news is concerned.
To be exact, Xiaomi will complete the development of new updates and new features for these devices, that is, they can continue to update but not with the latest news. However, the firm does not usually completely abandon its devices, updating them for some more time at the security patch level.
These Xiaomi will stop receiving new MIUI updates forever
In detail, from today Xiaomi will end official support for the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, also known in the global market as the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro, both still very present among the user community.
But there is no bad news. In addition to these devices, the Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition will also no longer be officially supported. These are joined by the Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi K30, and Redmi K30 Pro (POCO F2 Pro).
In this way, Xiaomi makes it clear that each of these devices will not receive MIUI 14, or Android 13. Of course, these devices will not be abandoned by Xiaomi, since a priori they will continue to receive security or important updates in order to protect our privacy.
