There Xiaomi Devices will no long receive MIUI updates (EOS)
|Once again Xiaomi brings us bad news. Just one day after the launch of the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro, the firm has once again added several of its smartphones to the distressing “black list” of devices that will never be updated again.
On this occasion, Xiaomi has added five new devices to its list of EOS (End of Support) products, that is, to the list of devices without official support, or what is the same, to the list of smartphones that will no longer receive an MIUI update.
These 5 Xiaomi phones are left without support: they will no longer receive new MIUI updates
If we go into the Xiaomi security portal, where the firm also publishes those devices that are no longer supported, we can see how the list has been expanded. This time five new smartphones join the controversial count.
Let’s remember that this list, as Xiaomi itself has explained, includes all those smartphones that will no longer receive new software updates, that is, neither new versions of MIUI nor security patches.
In itself, these five new devices that stop receiving MIUI updates are:
- POCO X2
- Redmi K30
- Redmi K30 5G
- Redmi 8A
- Redmi 8
As we can see, the Redmi 8 is included, a bestseller that says goodbye to us forever despite being a very valid smartphone. Remember that at trus.mi.com you can find the rest of the devices that will no longer be updated.
