The Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a larger and better display than the Xiaomi 12. In this post, we will discuss the display specs of the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s display features a resolution of 2K and supports LTPO 2.0. For this handset, Xiaomi used top-of-the-line Samsung E5 LTPO screens. It is the bigger sibling of the Xiaomi 12 with a screen size of 6.78′′.

DisplayMate rated the product A+. DisplayMate is a reputable website that rates a broad range of gadgets based on their display. Because the A+ rating is the highest, we can conclude that using the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be pleasurable.

Resolution

For a 6.78′′ display, 2K resolution is more than adequate. Despite having a tiny screen in comparison to monitors and TVs, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is capable of delivering exceptionally sharp images to its users. Users may also use the Settings app to reduce the display resolution to less than 2K in order to preserve battery life.

Adaptive Refresh Rate

The Xiaomi 12 Pro offers an adjustable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. Xiaomi’s software regulates the refresh rate between 10Hz and 120Hz to preserve battery life and provide a seamless experience for its consumers. 1Hz mode is most likely utilized for Always-on Display, and since there isn’t much going on with Always-on Display, it’s smart to use 1Hz mode to preserve power.

Xiaomi has also improved the way adaptive refresh rate works. To preserve power, the software will now set lower refresh rates than 120Hz based on slide and animation speeds. Xiaomi refers to it as “Smart Dynamic Refresh Rate.”

Micro-Lens Microprism

Xiaomi also mentioned a technology called Micro-Lens Microprism, the purpose of which we don’t know yet, but I’m thinking it attempts to make displays clearer and crisper by magnifying individual OLED pixels. We’ll find out what it’s all about when Xiaomi unveils the phone on December 28th at 19:30 (GMT+8).
