Xiaomi 11T Pro gets Gets Android 12 based MIUI 13 update

Xiaomi has begun to roll out the MIUI 13 update with Android 12 to Xiaomi 11T Pro in Indonesia. Other markets are expected to get the update in the next few days.

Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with 6.67 inches AMOLED+ Dolby Vision with a 120Hz refresh rate + HDR10. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor along with 8GB  or 12 GB RAM variant and up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, 5000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, Charging from 0-100% takes just 17 minutes using the wired charger.

Xiaomi 11T Pro has begun to get the Android 12 based MIUI 13 update with February 2022 security patch in Europe and other markets are expected to get it in the next few days.

The build number of this update for Xiaomi 11T Pro (codenamed Vili) is V13.0.8.0.SKDEUXM. If you don’t want to wait for your update to come from OTA, you can download the update package of around 3.8 GB, so we advise you to download it using Wi-Fi.

Xiaomi started rolling out the Android 12 based MIUI 13 update to Xiaomi 11T Pro. The update is currently being released for pilot testers in Global markets and it will take a few days for public rollout.

No additional features or changes were mentioned in the changelog besides increasing the system’s security and stability but it comes with a bunch of new features of MIUI 13 such as adding a new global sidebar, which supports opening applications in the form of small windows, optimizing dialing, clock, weather, and theme accessibility modes. Furthermore, it also optimized browser privacy protection, web browsing, and information reading experience.

The software update for Xiaomi 11T Pro is identified via firmware number V13.0.1.0.SKDMIXM and users will have to install the software package of around 3.4 GB, so we advise you to download it using Wi-Fi.

If you are a Xiaomi 11T Pro user, you could already get a notification of the latest MIUI 13 update. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check for the new update by going to Setting >> Software update and tapping on Download and install.
