The Xiaomi 12 series is set to be released around the end of December. According to a new source, the Chinese manufacturer may introduce a Xiaomi 11 series device before that. In the MIUI code, the rumored smartphone is referred to as the ‘Xiaomi 11 LE.’ This rumored handset is anticipated to be the Chinese counterpart of the recently introduced Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone.

According to Xiaomiui, the phone has been codenamed ‘Lisa.’ The 5G smartphone is also thought to have gained TENAA and MIIT certifications. Despite the fact that the code specifies the Mi brand, this smartphone is likely to be released in China as the Xiaomi 11 LE 5G. Xiaomiui also references a post published by a user on the Chinese equivalent of TikTok, known as Douyin, speculating on the release date of this rumored smartphone on December 9. It is also expected to have the MIUI 12.5.6 based on Android 11.

The codename (Lisa) from the codebase and product number (2107119DC) from TENAA imply that the phone will be nothing more than the previously announced Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. However, for whatever reason, it will be marketed under a different name in the company’s native nation.

Not only that, but a TikToker from China has produced a video revealing that this smartphone would be released on December 9. Finally, Xiaomiui claims that the smartphone will most likely be shipped with V12.5.6.0.RKOCNXM, which is based on Android 11.

Although the device is labeled as Xiaomi 11 LE in MIUI code, there’s a good probability it’ll be released in China as Xiaomi 11 LE 5G. We don’t know what LE stands for right now. It most likely means ‘Lite Edition.’ For those who are unfamiliar, the NE in Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE stands for ‘New Edition.’

The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (also known as the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India) is just a Mi 11 Lite 5G with a Snapdragon 778G rather than a Snapdragon 780G. The Chinese edition of this phone will be the yet-to-be-released Xiaomi 11 LE.
