Xiaomi has just released the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. The gadget is a significant boost over the Redmi Note 10T 5G, which was released earlier this year. More gadgets in the Note 11 series are likely to be released by Xiaomi. The business is preparing to unveil a new Redmi Note 10S model. The low-cost smartphone was released in India earlier this year in two storage sizes. According to our industry sources, Xiaomi will offer a new storage option of the Redmi Note 10S in India with 8GB of RAM.

There has been no official announcement from Xiaomi or Redmi about the debut. However, according to our sources, the phone will include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is no news on the price, but we can expect the phone to be available in India for Rs 17,999 or Rs 18,499. It will be priced more than the two 6GB RAM choices, which are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,499, respectively. Both of these models include 64GB and 128GB of internal storage.

The Redmi Note 10S is a slightly more powerful version of the Redmi Note 10 and both these devices are identical to look at. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Redmi Note 10S has stereo speakers and an IR emitter that’s not common on budget smartphones.

The Note 10S packs a MediaTek Helio G95 along with 6GB of RAM, and you get to choose between 64GB and 128GB storage options. It runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11. It does have a fair amount of preinstalled apps that occasionally push spammy notifications. The Note 10S has a 5,000mAh battery and comes with a 33W charger in the box.

Xiaomi offers a quad-camera setup on the Redmi Note 10S with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Daylight shots were average but oversharpened and distant objects appeared blotchy. Close-up and macro shots fared better. Low light shots appeared flat and grainy but had some improvements with Night mode. Overall, the Redmi Note 10S is worth buying over the Redmi Note 10 only for its improved performance.
