More and more Xiaomi phones are signing up for Android 12. After debuting on the Xiaomi Mi 11, the company has begun to roll out a new MIUI update based on the Google operating system for several of its latest smartphones.
This time it was the turn of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro +, which can already boast of having the latest Android 12 news, at least through the Beta version of MIUI.
Both the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, as well as the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro +, have begun to be updated to Android 12 through the version of MIUI V12.5 21.8.31, that is, the one launched on December 31st, August under the beta tester program.
After the debut of Android 12 in the MIUI China ROM Beta, it is expected that its arrival in the Global ROM will not be late. According to the latest rumors, the first versions of MIUI under this operating system should appear before the end of 2021 in the Global ROM.
Likewise, this would happen for the Mi 11 Series and some of the latest devices launched by Xiaomi. It is unlikely that the company’s mid-range will be updated this year, at least in a stable way.
