Xiaomi Leica Camera App is a camera app that was introduced on the latest Xiaomi flagship phones.
Until now, Xiaomi has relied on the standard camera app that we are all familiar with. The MIUI layer was used to customize this camera. However, it has been a while since Xiaomi announced that they would release their first smartphone with Leica, and we have yet to see some of its fruits.
Leica has had a significant impact on the Chinese company since its merger. One of these noticeable changes is the new camera application developed in collaboration with the smartphone manufacturer. The most effective? That we can install and test it on our terminals starting today.
Xiaomi Leica Camera App Features:
The Xiaomi camera application designed together with Leica offers different changes compared to the normal version. The new application has a different watermark. The new watermark appears at the bottom of the image instead of the corner.
New Leica watermark;
New camera toggle icons;
New Leica filters added.
Maybe more new things
With regard to the image quality, of the new camera from Leica and Xiaomi, the images obtained seem to be the same. A priori, the differences we find with respect to the image are few. The new application brings new color modes typical of Leica, among which we highlight the natural filter, which makes the photos have a lower saturation and feel closer to what we see in the human eye.
On the other hand, we find Leica’s own vivid color modes or black and white modes, not to mention Xiaomi‘s standard filters. These distinctions are visible in the images we just published above. They were taken with the new Xiaomi 12 Pro application.
How to download and install the Xiaomi Leica Camera App on your mobile phone
Downloading the application will not be as easy as searching for it in the Google store since it is an application made for the new Xiaomi 12S Ultra, so we will have to download it manually. The new camera will replace the old Xiaomi camera that we have installed on our terminal.
We want to make it clear that we are not responsible for what may happen in the terminal.
